Here are some links which might be of interest, or useful, to those interested in Maritime History. It is not intended to be a complete encyclopaedia to everything maritime on the Internet - for that, try one of the major search engines, such as Google.

One of the best mailing lists (many CNRS members are subscribed) is MARHST-L, run out of the Maritime Museum of the Great Lakes in Kingston Ontario. Information about subscribing (it's free!) may be found here.

One of the most useful sites around is:
Lars Bruzelius' Master Link of Maritime History. You can often find the link you're looking for here.

Notable is the Dictionary of Canadian Biography, which is online, courtesy of the National Archives/National Library of Canada.
